What is Time Rift?

Time Rift is a hybrid, collectible card and tactics game featuring champions from throughout world history. Customizable, simple to learn, and complex to master. Takes 5 cards and 5 minutes to jump right into the action! Think of it as Super Smash Bros. meets world history, in card game format!
How does Time Rift work?

Take your Champion (the playable character in the game), and equip them with powerful loadout cards, including Armor, Inspiration, Weapon, and Special cards to create the ultimate fighting machine. Enter the Arena with your opponent(s) and face off in 4 rounds of fast-paced combat!
Why would I want multiple packs if each product comes with a playable experience?

Mixing and matching cards is highly encouraged in Time Rift! You can equip Napoleon with Spartacus' shield and Musashi's bokken, or any other combination you can think of. We have over 240 cards in the first set alone, in addition to alternate art cards, foil variants, special rarities, and more. It is important to note that we will never lock a powerful card behind rarity. There are standard versions of every single card in the game.
Do you use AI artwork?

No. Trivium Studios believes in real, human-created artwork, which is why we work with the best illustrators in the industry. We will never use AI artwork in any of our projects. In fact, your support has a real benefit and impact on the artists who work on the game.
How do your booster packs work?

Each booster pack includes a total of 13 cards. Since you only need 5 cards to play the game, each pack comes with a 2-player experience and extra cards. The packs include 2 Champions + their standard loadout. The 3 extra cards are called Chrono Cards and do not match a current loadout, but they could in the future. Think of them as bonus cards to experiment with mixing and matching loadout cards.
How are rare cards found in the booster packs (alt-art, foils, etc.)?

Make sure to look through every card in the pack because you could discover alt arts, foils, and variants throughout the pack. Any card can be foiled, and Champions could surprise you as foil or alt arts as well.
What's the point/reason for both a Location and Culture on a card (Asia/Japanese or Europe/French)?

The 4 words above the game text are the cards' “keywords.” Keywords on cards may react to various loadout card abilities and may even open the door for other game modes as well!
Are Starter Decks fixed or semi random?

You will get Spartacus, Musashi, and Khutulun, with all of their matching loadout cards. (Right out of the box, these battle decks are very strong and very fun to play for any skill level and player!) Plus the Napoleon Champion. In addition, you will get 4 other cards with Napoleon, which include some unexpected outcomes with each starter game purchase.
